We Are What We Repeatedly Do

Our everyday habits not only shape our life, but they also shape our body.

The way our body feels, aches and tightens can be a result of simple things like how we hold our phone, how we sit in the car and at work, and the position we sleep in at night, for example. Since these are things we typically do while relaxing, we find ourselves hanging out in positions that feel most comfortable at the time. Don’t be misled by your comfort, though… especially if you are going to be holding that position for an extended period of time. 

In Iron Horse Fitness and Sports Performance’s recent podcast episode, Garrett goes into the risk that can be associated with sitting for long periods of time, the misalignment your body might encounter because of how you are lying in bed, and asking yourself questions like How much do you sit? What is your sitting position? What is your sleeping position? What do you do repeatedly with that part of your body that is injured?
